In 2026, We are excited to announce ACSLHE's 2026 conference, Disrupt, Connect, Thrive: An Approach to Chaplaincy in a Tumultuous World, will be held at the Palmer House Hotel in Chicago, IL from June 16th-18th. 

As chaplains, we recognize that much of our work is being present to people as they endure this tumultuous world. There are times we must disrupt as well as be present to disruption on our campus. We need connection with our colleagues to continue to do this work with excellence. And, we cannot do this work without ensuring that we ourselves are personally thriving.

Our conference will look at all these elements. Through workshops, keynote speakers, time for open connection with colleagues, excursions around Chicago, and a few fun surprises, we hope you will join us for this important event.

$325 Students

Early Bird Discount is good through March 31, 2026. 

Starting April 1, the fee increases to the following:

$600 for members

$725 for Non-Members

$425 for students

If you have additional funds and want to provide the chance for someone else to attend please consider donating. The link can be found here. Conference registration fees are non-refundable.

Please note we will not be taking walk up registrations or same day registrations.

You will not be able to substitute another persons registration if a member of your team is not able to come. If this is the case please contact info@acslhe.org to discuss options.

Hotel Information

The Palmer House Hotel

A block of rooms is reserved with a conference rate of $239/night plus taxes/fees.

Rate is valid until block is filled. We suggest booking as soon as possible. Reserve your room at the conference rate. 

• Our room rate begins 3 days before and ends 3 days after if you want to extend your trip and maximize your time.

• Parking is on E. Monroe across the street for $57 per day.
