Albion College invites applications for the Assistant Director for Spiritual Wellness position. We are especially interested in candidates who will contribute to a campus climate that supports equity, diversity, and belonging. The Assistant Director for Spiritual Wellness (AD) will work in deep collaboration with the OIW team to offer programmatic opportunities for spiritual exploration, development, and practice; interfaith experiences; community and individual compassion support and ceremonial duties as an integrated part of Albion’s commitment to becoming a community that supports community and individual wellness. This role is a critical part of how we advance self-efficacy, purpose, and belonging through the 7 dimensions of wellness (emotional, spiritual, intellectual, physical, social, occupational, and environmental).
The AD must understand the nature and culture of a residential college campus and demonstrate a willingness to embrace Albion College’s commitment to being an anti-racist institution. The AD will actively promote diversity, belonging and equity through critical and compassionate communication and strategic outreach efforts to various students, faculty and staff (e.g., historically under-represented, first-generation, undocumented and DACA students, LGBTQ students).

Qualifications:
· Master's degree in college counseling, student affairs, higher education related field
· Two years of experience related to student engagement, leadership development, and/or programming related to spiritual development/wellness, campus ministry, and/or interfaith practices
· Experience working with college students and in higher education is preferred
